In reference to the post on Insecurity:
Ephesians 2:10 says “10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Psalm 34:4 it says, ”I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Who are we to doubt our God? If we trust in Him, He will give us strength to combat these fears and insecurities we face every day. I need to trust in Him every day!

In reference to the post on the Perfect Girlfriend:
Ephesians 5:25, 28-29 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" and “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:"
We may not consciously be looking for a husband, but ultimately isn't that why we date? If you’re wearing the mask of the perfect girlfriend in an abusive relationship, consider this—Do you think that magically the man who hits you, or curses at you, or demeans you, or cheats on you is suddenly going to change once you put a ring on it? Pain, hurt, and fear don’t add up to love. Anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is only loving himself, not you. Don’t be fooled into thinking you’re going to change him. Only Christ can change that kind of heart. You are worth so much more.
